Anjanette Delgado (b.1967) is a Puerto Rican writer and journalist whose work centers on heartbreak, displacement, and social justice. The winner of an Emmy Award for her writing, and of two International Latino Book Awards for her fiction, she is the author of the novels The Heartbreak Pill (Simon & Schuster, 2008) and The Clairvoyant of Calle Ocho (Penguin Random House, 2014); and the editor of the first anthology to gather the Latinx voices of the Sunshine State: Home in Florida: Latinx Writers and the Literature of Uprootedness (University of Florida Press, 2021). A Bread Loaf Alumni, her work has appeared in The New York Times (Modern Love),Vogue, NPR, HBO, the Kenyon Review, the Boston Review, Hostos Review, Hong Kong Review, and elsewhere.
