Serene Richards is a lecturer in law at NYU London. She writes on contemporary and medieval philosophy, critical social theory, law and literature. Her research has been published is a range of journals and edited collections, including a chapter entitled ‘Miracles’ in the Elgar Research Handbook on Law and Literature. Her book Biopolitics as a System of Thought is forthcoming. Alongside this, she is developing a writing project on the government of the passions at the École Pratique des Hautes Études where she is an affiliated researcher.
