Lidiya Zelke is a multi-disciplinary artist from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She has worked for different organizations as Creative Director and Art Director. Her artwork usually tells story of feelings and how they reveal and create layers of ourselves in every excitement, sense of anticipation, loneliness. It also explores how they crack and polish us throughout our life journey by changing us irreversibly, without even sensing it. She has participated in different local and international exhibitions including Heylayer’s SatoSHE and Her:NFT projects as one of the 20 selected artist from all over the world. She is one of the 5 artists selected from Africa for Kipya Ki? (what’s new ) exhibition curated by Format Festival, New Art City, Uganda Photo Press and the British Council. Her works has been published in few magazines, such as Fèroce, En Vie, Picton and the Vogue Italy website page.
