ADO (Antonio Díaz Oliva) nació en Temuco, Chile, y actualmente vive en Chicago, donde trabaja como profesor de lengua y escritura creativa bilingüe en distintas universidades. Con su primera novela La soga de los muertos (2011) ganó el premio Roberto Bolaño a la creación joven en Chile. También es autor de los volúmenes de cuentos La experiencia formativa (2016) y La experiencia deformativa (2020), ambos publicados con Neón Ediciones. El primero ganó el premio a Mejor Libro del Año (cuento) del Ministerio de Cultura de Chile y el segundo es actualmente finalista del Premio Municipal de Literatura. Editó de la antología Estados Hispanos de América: Nueva narrativa made in USA, donde reúne autores que escriben en español y viven en Estados Unidos. Pronto publicará su nuevo libro, una novela de campus titulada Campus, con la editorial bilingüe de Nueva York, Chatos Inhumanos.

ADO (Antonio Díaz Oliva) was born in Temuco, Chile, and currently lives in Chicago, where he works as a professor of language and bilingual creative writing at different universities. With his first novel La soga de los muertos (2011) he won the Roberto Bolaño Award in the Young Creation category in Chile. He is also the author of the volumes of short stories La experiencia formativa (2016) and La experiencia deformativa (2020), both published with Neón Ediciones. The first won the prize for Best Book of the Year (category of short story) awarded by the Chilean Ministry of Culture and the second is currently a finalist for the Municipal Prize for Literature. He edited the anthology Estados Hispanos de América: Nueva narrativa made in USA, where he brings together authors who write in Spanish and live in the United States. He will soon publish his new book, a campus novel titled Campus, with the New York bilingual publisher, Chatos Inhumanos.
